Description
Wireless DMX Light Show System - custom builtLocal Pickup only.
This DMX-based lighting setup consists of 9 programmable fixtures organized in 3 separate assemblies which are wireless-connected to a DMX hardware controller. The controller - USB connected to a computer, runs automated sequences of light patterns that can be synced with a source of music when needed. Presets (sequences of patterns) can be cycled automatically or with a footswitch or could be called independently using a MIDI foot controller. All "shows" are being defined with the help of the DMXIS software in an easy, interactive manner. Each light fixture assembly only requires an individual connection to the mains power and can communicate with the controller from up to several hundred feet (we only tested through 3 rooms). That allows for plenty flexibility in physical placement and light projection results. The lighting set is extendable in the same wireless manner (additional receivers are provided, more can be added).
After first installing DMXIS, the show and library folders of the software will have to be updated (simple instructions and files in a separate email). The custom demo show will then be immediately usable, as all fixtures are already preset.
The video exemplifies a plug and play, DJ-style demo show that does not require an operator. Each preset (of the defined 10 that make the "show") is changed every 4 bars of music while driving different fixtures with specific choices of patterns. The music source is the laptop/PC sound driver.

From the manufacturer:
"Since 2009, DMXIS has been helping bands & performers around the world automate their light shows. DMXIS is the easy way to create exciting live light shows with your Mac OS or Windows-based computer.
Your light show is pre-programmed in advance of your gig (using simple sliders and effects tools). Then during the gig you simply step through your lightshow with a basic footswitch, or (for more control) use a MIDI foot pedal or keyboard to switch between scenes and fade your lighting up & down. DMXIS includes both the software and a professional standard single-universe USB-DMX hardware interface, designed by ENTTEC.
DMXIS is a flexible, easy to use lighting control package, specifically designed for live performers.
Most lighting controllers assume that an operator is available to manually control the show. They are often packed with features that are of little use to the live performer who just wants a nice looking light show with a minimum of fuss. DMXIS was designed specifically for live performers who want to run an automated light show while performing on stage. The hardware is incredibly easy to connect up, and the software extremely simple to learn and operate, while being flexible enough to control modern intelligent light fixtures.
With DMXIS, you pre-program your entire light show in advance, letting you concentrate on your live performance. You can then manually step through the light show using a simple footswitch plugged into the DMXIS hardware interface. Or, if you use audio software such as Logic, Ableton Live, Cubase or Mixmeister in your live show, you can use the DMXIS plug-in (VST or Audio Unit) to run your lights directly from your audio software! This is incredibly effective, as your light show automatically synchronizes to the performance, even if you change tempo live. "
