Crucible Capacity is 150DWT for Gold and 75DWT for Silver, can be used for melting and pouring Gold, Silver,Copper and Brass...
A Bag of 1/2oz Borax is included with crucible for Glazing... all Ceramic Crucibles should be glazed with Borax prior to use, which helps extend the life of the crucible.
Crucible has pouring spouts one on each end for pouring molten metal, a heavy and solid base.
WORK SAFE  *Protective Clothing, heat gloves and eye protection must be worn when melting metals.
