Marxochime Colony Violin-Uke Original Box, Instructions, and Sheet Music 1930's

Description

I love the instructions with this violin-uke.  "Tuning to the corresponding tones of a piano, or send it to us by parcel post and we will tune it for 10 cents.  A Violin and Ukelele combined. Anybody can play it.  They all like it.  Made of Violin Wood.  Has a wonderful tone."  The care is dated July 12, 1932.  I must admit it does have a pleasing tone, better than any ukelele I have ever heard and it is very well made.  It is in very good condition.  I see no cracks or problems.  It would need to be turned.  Included are the violin-uke, the instruction card, (which does not say much, and some sheet music.  Original cost in 1932 was .00
