,  is hand made by me and is a print of the original artwork. It is printed on high quality, 51lb glossy card stock and can be matted and framed to keep forever as a collectible piece of art.
I used my little Pomeranian in the garden portrait as a model and added a festive hat and some holly and voila!a new drawing that I made into a Special Edition Christmas Card, just for the Christmas season.
These cards come as a set of 3 Christmas cards and envelopes.
On the inside is written:
Wishing You Peace, Happiness, and Every Joy For Christmas And The New Year.

This breed, smallest of the Spitz family of dogs, is named for Pomerania which was once a part of Germany. They were imported to Britain during the reign of Queen Victoria.  The 1st specimens weighed up to 30lbs. and were not instantly popular.  However, The English succeeded in miniaturizing the Pom after a few generations of selective breeding, and produced exact replicas of the original weighing from 3 to 7 lbs.  These tiny dogs remain one of the most popular of toy breeds.  This is a dainty, profusely coated little dog.  The Pom is an ideal house pet for adults who must spend a lot of time indoors.  They make a good watch dog, need minimal exercise and enjoy the pampered life.

My Bio:
I was born in Yorkshire, England and immigrated to Canada
at the age of two. Most of my education was in the province
of Quebec, where I spent all of my teenage years.
It was here I discovered a love of drawing. In 1980, I j
ourneyed west to join my parents and siblings in
British Columbia, where I have resided ever since.
I presently live in Mission, British Columbia, Canada with my
Family and a variety of animals.
As an artist, I am self taught and having been a single Mom for many years, I used what was available to me to create a different style of art. Four mediums are used in the artwork: Ink, Pencil, Coloured Pencils, and Pastel. They are blended together to form a unique combination of colours and textures.  One aspect of my drawings is my attention to detail, from the many colours of a blade of grass, to the emotion in the eyes of my subjects, be they real or fantasy. I take great pride in my artwork and I am pleased to offer you a sample of it in this print.
