Antique Sterline Silver Hair Brush Floral Repousse ART NOUVEAU Gorham Style
Offering a very lovely antique STERLINE Silver (marked on back) Hair Brush. Repousse Florals in relief. Very sculptural. Very ornate. Curvaceous, scrolling, flowing Art Nouveau lines in the style of Gorham and Whiting. Peonies?  Not monogrammed.
This is STERLINE-- a trade mark for a non-silver alloy used by the E. Blake Co. Attleboro, MA. ca 1902.
Surface wear commensurate with age and use. Bristle brush part -- original --very clean-- probably never used.
