1920-1945 CHICAGO MOTOR CLUB "HONOR MEMBER" HEAVY BRASS & ENAMEL ASHTRAY - NICE
Nice Piece of Chicago Motor Club Memorabilia in the form ofa HONOR MEMBER Solid Brass Ash Tray. Made of Art Deco, Brass, Mystical Symbolsand Integrity. These were sent to CMC Members who were "Honored" forreferring another member to the Club. It is quite a beautiful item for a"give-away" but History shows us, that is how the Chicago Motor Clubwas operated. Badge is double-sided. The original circular piece of felt isstill attached on the bottom. Overall Dimensions: base measures 5-3/4"Diameter and it stands 4" tall. Made entirely of heavy Brass.
Here we have a very nice Chicago Motor Club 1920-1945.   HonorMember -  Brass & Enamelashtray.  Old piece in excellent shape.  This was a quality madeashtray with double-sided enamel paint and the original felt bottom.  You can see one just like this one in the Henry FordMuseum in Dearborn.  Another gone, but not forgotten gem.  Thisashtray is very old.  Ashtray is in great overall condition. Has alwaysbeen kept in a display cabinet. Never used.
